All Custom Re-Bath History
|
|
| |
All Custom Re-Bath was established in 1989 as a division of Hoffmann Plumbing
based in Westlake, Ohio. They became the 7th bathtub liner installation company
in the country, and 1st in Ohio serving the greater Cleveland market. During
that year, they renovated the large total of 18 bathtubs using the Henry Ford
model: “Any color you want, as long as it’s white.”
In 1993, growth had allowed All Custom Re-Bath to become a stand alone
business. The partnership between founders Dan Koster and Ivan Hofmann had
grown to include over 250 bathtub renovations during the year and its first
showroom.
The year 1998 saw the retirement of Ivan and the arrival of a new partner, Bill Stroh, into the company. The company expanded down into the Akron market, adding a second showroom to serve that community. The product line expanded that year to include liners for shower pans in part due to Dan’s invention of a drain adapter that made the process possible. That year, the company renovated over 650 bathtubs and showers.

| A new partnership with The Home Depot was formed in 2003, as All Custom Re-Bath was one of two Re-Bath franchises nationwide chosen to participate as the official At Home Services vendor for bathtub liners. This partnership has continued to grow across the country with more markets becoming available through other Re-Bath franchises. |

By 2005, All Custom Re-Bath had grown into the largest Re-Bath franchise in the country. Dan announced his retirement and sold his interest in the company to his son, Steven Koster, and nephew, Tom Marquard. A fourth showroom was added as the company expanded into the western Pennsylvania market. Now with nine certified installers on its staff, All Custom Re-Bath renovated over 1450 bathtubs and showers during the year.
With a continued focus on customer service, as evidenced by their Angie’s List Super Service Awards and Better Business Bureau reports, they have compiled a list of over 7,000 local customer referrals to be used by potential customers to ensure they have found a quality installation company. Now armed with many more color and style selections than in 1989, plus an expanded product line, All Custom Re-Bath looks forward to many more years of continued growth. |
